On June the 6th TeamDARE will be present again at the Sioux/CCM Trofee. Come and see robots compete against each others in cleaning solar panels on roofs, while being entertained by our robot band. Iggy will make it’s first animated live appearance.
TeamDARE started a new robot instrument project. The saxophone robot! The mouth piece will be a big challenge, so the team has started with a prototype setup to test the effect of air flow and air pressure and pressure on the reed. Soon some first sounds will be posted.
Iggy has its robotic arms installed. Each arm has five degrees of freedom. But that is not all. The neck can move back and forth, and rotate from left to right. The eyes can move up and down, and turn from left to right. The mouth can open and close. Ears and eyebrows can move up […]
Obviously, puppeteering is not TeamDARES core expertise and therefore arm and neck movements as well as facial expressions of Iggy will be robotized. The photo shows “spine”, motors, and strings for Iggy’s arm.
